Kyle Clements
Kyle ClementsOwner and Head Instructor
Kyle is the owner and head instructor at Georgian Bay BJJ. A black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, he started training in 2013 in Edmonton before refining his skills at New Level Grappling in Kelowna, BC.

A seasoned competitor across Alberta, British Columbia, and the United States, Kyle has found success in competition as a white belt all the way up to facing black belts.

​Gifted with the athleticism of an upside-down turtle, Kyle is proof positive that if you are willing to put in the work anyone can succeed in Jiu-Jitsu. Kyle takes a well-rounded approach to grappling, emphasizing takedowns, passing, sweeps, and submissions equally

Kristen is a blue belt in BJJ, co-owner of the gym, and the one making sure our team stays stylish in fresh gear. She helps out with our kids/teens classes, brings energy when subbing fitness sessions, and is always looking for ways to make the gym feel like home. Her goals? to keep growing our kids’ programs and bring home some more BJJ medals of her own through competing.
Angie Hastings

Angie is a power yoga instructor, with previous experience as a personal trainer, fitness kickboxing and martial arts instructor. Angie blends this diverse background into invigorating power yoga sessions that build strength, flexibility, and mindfulness, leaving students feeling empowered and energized. Angie’s classes are challenging yet accessible, designed to help all levels discover their inner strength and find joy in movement.

Power Yoga – a vinyasa based style of yoga that involves flowing from one pose to the next, with each movement linked to breath. It focuses on building strength, endurance, and flexibility.

Don’t let the “new instructor” title fool you, Kim has been living and breathing fitness for years. After transforming a personal passion for wellness into a professional mission, she is now bringing that energy, experience, and real-life know-how to every workout.

We’re excited to shine the spotlight on Darrin, our Head Kickboxing Instructor! Darrin is the driving force behind our Kickboxing classes and our 6am Power Hour fitness classes.

He is a certified personal trainer with over 20 years of experience working with a wide variety of athletes. Darren’s has worked with all forms of athletes ranging from Olympians, pro and semi pro hockey players, combat sports athletes and your everyday mother of three who’s just trying to squeeze a workout into her busy schedule.
